Job Summary:

The Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for our guests, assisting them with reservations, providing information about our facilities and services, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant booking experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a desire to contribute to a premier hospitality experience.

Job Specifications:

Onsite: Black Desert ResortShift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time Pay Rate: $15 - 17/hour. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities including but not limited to

  • Handle incoming calls and emails for room reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Provide detailed information about resort amenities, services, room types, and rates.
  • Use the reservations system to check availability and book reservations accurately.
  • Assist guests with special requests and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure guest requirements are met.
  • Process reservation-related paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow up on guest bookings and confirmations.
  • Identify and maximize room sales opportunities to enhance revenue.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the reservation process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort events, promotions, and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service or reservations is preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn reservation management software.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
