The Reservations Agent is responsible for ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction while conducting reservation calls, internet reservations, and replying to information and email requests for all Blackberry properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for accepting and entering all phone/e-mail requests for reservations in a professional and timely manner following all Blackberry Farm, LLC and High Hampton policies for each reservation
Responsible for setting traces, entering and communicating special requests to the rest of the property and checking these daily
Knowledge of the history of Blackberry Farm, LLC properties and High Hampton, all activities offered and all other components of the guest experience and ensuring this information is correct on all websites
Responsible for and able to reserve and sell all gift certificate and track them according to policy for Blackberry Farm, LLC properties and High Hampton
Assist the Reservations Supervisor with reports and daily tasks as assigned
Enter accurate demographic information into database for marketing and direct mail projects
Ensure guest requests are fulfilled and expectations are met or exceeded
Other duties as assigned
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
College degree preferred but not required
1-2 years of experience in sales and customer service preferred
Excellent telephone skills, typing proficiency, computer experience, and strong organizational skills required
Experience in Property Management Systems a plus
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic mathematical skills and understanding of reporting, statistics, and budgets
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to sit for long periods, work extensively on the computer and phone while multi-tasking to complete daily responsibilities
