Part Time Night Audit/Front Desk
Able to verify, reconcile, and consolidate all daily transactions. Attention to detail is critical and the ability to handle any/all situations on the graveyard shift with good judgment. As Front Desk Agent, must be familiar with all Front Desk Operations.
Essential Functions:
  • Welcome guests to the Chateaux Residence Club
  • Effectively and seriously deal with guest complaints
  • Answer phone in a very courteous manner and respond to guests promptly and efficiently
  • Have full knowledge of computer system to effectively check-in and check-out guests on a timely basis.
  • Have thorough knowledge of facilities, amenities, departments, and managers
  • Read log book and handle any outstanding requests
  • Perform a variety of clerical and office duties assumed by one Front Desk Agent
  • Serves as information agent for Hotel guests and handles their needs or directs information to satisfy their needs. Responds to all guest requests. Be fully aware of daily functions in the Hotel
  • Knowledgeable of local activities and area attractions that may enhance the stay of our guests
  • Display working knowledge of reservations and room availability functions. Take reservations and messages as requested
  • Take accurate messages for guests and managers (including date, time, caller, message)
  • Complete department check list each shift
  • Process all guests' special requests and VIP services in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all guest mail, messages, faxes, federal express, and other overnight deliveries are delivered to guest promptly
  • Complete weekly room key and front desk supplies inventory
  • Demonstrate an outgoing and pleasant attitude with all guests and employees
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work area
  • Do whatever necessary to help guests and fellow employees

Education, Experience, and Skills Preferred:
  • High school diploma required/some college preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work overnight
