  • Maintenir et analyser les catégories de produits et assurer le coût correct
  • Identifier et proposer une nouvelle sélection de produits en passant du temps dans les magasins
  • Trouvez de nouveaux fournisseurs en participant à des salons professionnels
  • Comprendre les forces et les faiblesses des fournisseurs pour limiter les risques
  • Assurer la qualité des marchandises grâce à la supervision des échantillons d'approbation
  • Aider à la réalisation et au suivi des bons de commande

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify new opportunities, including new products introduced by key suppliers, source products, analyze market trends, identify retail opportunities, and maximize sales potential.
  • Maintain and analyze product categories while ensuring accurate costing.
  • Identify and recommend new product selections through in-store market research and product evaluation.
  • Source and identify new suppliers by attending trade shows.
  • Understand suppliers’ strengths and weaknesses in order to minimize potential risks.
  • Ensure product quality through the supervision and approval of samples.
  • Assist with the creation and follow-up of purchase orders.
  • Attend buyer meetings, seasonal presentations, and travel with the Buyer when required.
Buyer Assistant Requirements
  • Diploma, DEC, AEC, or equivalent education in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience in the retail or import industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
