Job description

About the Operations Associate (2nd shift) role:

As an Operations Associate, you'll be operating in a deadline-driven environment where the inventories that we handle have a ticking expiration date and the outcome of a sporting event determines the challenges that we will face the next day. Operations are the foundation of our business, upon which the engine of our company is built. You’ll be joining a tight-knit, resilient Operations Desk that does anything and everything needed to fulfill our clients' orders around the country, 365 days a year.

This role shift will start between 10:00 AM and12:00 PM and end between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM daily. The schedule will include Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with an additional day on either Thursday or Tuesday to provide for a 5-day workweek.

Job Description:

  • Researching and processing orders and accurately updating information in computer systems
  • Follow up to ensure issues are resolved; maintain comprehensive knowledge of internal policies and procedures
  • Possession of strong personal code of ethics, including maintaining confidentiality, avoiding conflict of interest, and avoiding self-dealing.
  • Troubleshooting lost event tickets, shipping issues, delivery problems, and ticket replacements in an efficient and timely manner
  • Assist all inbound inquiries regarding tickets, ticket transactions, and ticket searches for buyers, explaining and researching inquiries as requested
  • Providing exceptional levels of service to every customer via phone, email and in person
  • Demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills at all times
  • Analytical skills that allow for accurate decision making to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our products and services
  • Help identify solutions, not just problems
  • Assist Management in a fast-paced environment while focusing on attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve with "take-charge" levels of responsibility
  • Respond to escalations, improve processes, and adhere to company guidelines
  • Other duties as required by management

Headquartered in Wicker Park just steps away from intersections Milwaukee, North Ave and Damen. Our mission is to build automated solutions for our client base of secondary market ticket sellers. Ticket Attendant facilitates approximately 3%of all secondary ticket sales in the US on any given day, and we’re looking for highly motivated individuals to help grow our market share. We’re currently a team of 40 people and are on track to continue doubling our size every 2 years.
