POSITION OVERVIEW:

Internships usually begin at the end of May and go through early September. Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM) looks for candidates that are academically strong with a passion for their field of study. MSM provides opportunities for internships in marketing, purchasing, logistics, information technology (IT), finance and accounting, or customer service. An intern can expect to virtually and/or in-person meet with associates, vendors, customers to explore future career opportunities. If the intern chooses to take the internship for credit, MSM is willing to accommodate any recordkeeping or evaluation requirements.

This role combines technical development skills with ecommerce operations and data automation to support online business growth. It blends coding, data analysis, and marketing to improve website performance, customer experience, create actionable data reports and drive sales.

  • Write and maintain clean, efficient code for ecommerce platforms (e.g., Hybris, Shopify,  WordPress) to improve functionality, speed, and user experience.

  • Assist in updating and managing product content, images, and descriptions across ecommerce channels
  • Manage content updates via CMS tools, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  •  

Completed two years of post-high school education and enrolled for the fall semester at a technical college or four-year university. Pursuing a BA/BS in information technology (specific to coding – python preferred), marketing, communications or related studies.

  •  

Have a grade point average sufficient to be considered in good academic standing.

  •  

Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  •  

Previous work experience or internships in the field or a related field of the internship.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills; ability to stand or sit, bend or stoop, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read. The team member frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Position requires frequent typing. Position requires limited business travel, including operation of a motor vehicle.
