You will collaborate closely with other DCS computer scientists and data analysts to support the customer's digital engineering initiatives. Essential Job Functions: Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead multi-disciplinary teams of software developers, engineers, and data analysts in conducting complex analytical research and Operator-in-the-Loop studies. Provide direct mentorship to junior engineers in MS&A and modeling methodologies. System Modeling: Design and model complex heterogeneous systems, including Aircraft Systems, Missile Systems, Radars, Jamming (Electronic Warfare), and Communications. Advanced Analytics: Apply advanced analytic principles to large datasets to gain insights into challenging research and engineering questions related to future technologies. Agile Framework: Direct and participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and triage. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, US citizenship is required. Must have an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain. Must have a Bachelors degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics or Similar). 8-10 years of professional experience in modeling, simulation and analysis or operations research analysis. Experience using a scripting language (Python, R, or similar). Experience in applying advanced statistical and analytic methodologies to assess challenging research problems. Experience with applying scientific methodologies to design experiments that answer specific research and analytic questions. Experience developing presentations and communicating results to senior leaders. Must be curious to explore new problems and develop creative solutions. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must work onsite at customer facility. Remote work is not available. Desired Skills: Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Master's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics or Similar). Experience with Agile software development methodologies, specifically utilizing the Scrum Framework. Experience developing machine learning models and employing them in a research setting. Experience utilizing or developing AFSIM focused on mission-level modeling and scenario analysis.
