Job Description Senior Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts - Specialty Ingredients NARemoteThis is an exempt position.Position SummaryThe Senior Director of Sales will lead the North American Strategic Accounts Sales team for ADM's industry leading specialty ingredients business. This leader will empower their team to drive revenue growth with key customers. This role requires hands-on execution along with an extensive understanding of food manufacturing, market trends, and customer needs. The specialty ingredients business is helping to fuel the long term success of ADM's Nutrition segment.Job ResponsibilitiesLeadershipImplement the North American go to market strategy aligned with the Specialty Ingredients business prioritiesCreate innovation opportunities in prioritized food segmentsProvide insights and feedback on our sales planning process - given customer and channel market dynamicsRevenue GrowthTrain and develop our sales team by deploying value-based selling of specialty ingredients and solutionsActivate commercial, CD&D (creation, design, and development), Marketing, Regulatory, R&D, and Manufacturing teams to support our strategic and growth customers as they launch new productsGain customer specific insights on potential new products that enables our innovation process teamCustomer Engagement and Team LeadershipBuild and sustain deep relationship with our strategic customersLead, coach, and support a high-performing sales teamEstablish clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable on revenue growth, pipeline value, win rate, and customer engagement metricsFoster a culture of success, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvementRequired SkillsDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales organizationExceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence internally and externallyExpertise in value-based selling along with pipeline management in SalesforceImpactful negotiatorStrong decision making capabilities with a focus on delivering measurably impactful outcomesEducation RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business or related field required; MBA preferredRequired Experience10 years of sales or commercial leadership in food ingredients or related sectorsProven track record of driving revenue growth and leading geographically dispersed sales teamsExperience selling into food & beverage manufacturers (B2B focus)Strong understanding of ingredient applications and formulation-driven salesAdditional informationThis position is remote and requires up to 50% travelExcited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed? REF:111159BR Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
