This program was established to transform healthcare through translational interdisciplinary research, the development of medical technologies, and the development and training of “Physicianeers.” ENMED delivers a revolutionary blended curriculum with focus on innovation and entrepreneurship where students receive a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Engineering degree in the same four years.**What we want**The Director of EnMed Research will serve as a strategic research development leader within School of Engineering Medicine (SEM, helping faculty build and expand collaborative research relationships across the Houston Methodist Research Institute (HMRI) and the broader Texas Medical Center (TMC) ecosystem. This position will cultivate extramural funding opportunities, facilitate multidisciplinary research collaborations, and provide oversight and support for the development of core research facilities that serve SEM's research mission.
