Position Summary
This position will serve as a Clinical Research Data Coordinator within the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, Ryan White Program. The Clinical Research Data Coordinator is responsible for research data management for a variety of complex clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in compiling, verifying, managing, and reporting data. The Clinical Research Data Coordinator also conducts various quality assurance and quality control efforts to ensure the accuracy of research data. The Clinical Research Data Coordinator is expected to use considerable judgement and research skills to carry out data-based research tasks. Type of data in this position includes clinical data from but not limited to EPIC, CAREWare, Excel tracking data sheets and REDCAP. The Clinical Research Data Coordinator is responsible for managing and streamlining data workflows, including utilizing Data Transfer Module (DTM) processes to accurately transfer data from EMR to other databases. This role also involves developing dashboards and creating clear, impactful data visualizations to support reporting and analysis.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
1.Ability to work with electronic medical records and clinical databases or systems, using considerable judgment and skill to perform work assignments accurately and efficiently
2.Ability to apply data security principles and practices while maintaining strong attention to detail
3.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work and communicate effectively and professionally with diverse populations and collaborate as part of a team.
4.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
5.Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured data summaries and reports
