Job description

PIPELINE OPENING

HD Biosciences Inc., a WuXi AppTec company, located in San Diego, is looking for a highly motivated Research Associate III to join our assay development team to support cell-based assays and biochemical assays etc.

โ€ข Support cell based assays and biochemical assays as requested
โ€ข Support High throughput screening and perform assays in biochemical and cell based formats that are suitable for SAR screening in 96 or 384-well formats.
โ€ข Deep understanding of molecular biology and cell biology and experience in mammalian cell culture and compound handling techniques.
โ€ข Effectively communicate with internal team colleagues and external clients to promote world-class services.

โ€ข Master degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Molecular Biology is required and 3+year work experience is preferred.
โ€ข Demonstrated strong understanding of complex scientific procedures with technical proficiency in molecular and cell biology
โ€ข Outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to seamlessly fit within a teamwork driven environment.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

โ€ข Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
โ€ข Need to be able to read, write and understand English
โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Physical Requirements:
โ€ข Must be able to work in an office environment with minimal noise conditions.
โ€ข Must be able to work in Lab setting with exposure to Animals/biohazards / Chemicals (List specific Chemicals)
โ€ข Must not have animal allergies to applicable species in this facility
โ€ข Must be able to wear appropriate PPE
โ€ข Must be able to work in environment with variable noise levels
โ€ข Ability to stand /Sit/walk for long periods of time
โ€ข Ability to Lift 10 lbs routinely
