    POSITION OVERVIEW

    We are seeking a curious, analytical, and technology-forward Market Research Analyst to join our Orange County office. In this role, you will transform commercial real estate data into meaningful market intelligence that supports client service, business development, and strategic decision-making. 

    Working closely with Brokerage, Property Management, Marketing, and Business Development teams, you will analyze market trends, develop actionable insights, and leverage emerging AI and analytics technologies to enhance research capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make an immediate impact while building a long-term career in commercial real estate.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Research and analyze commercial real estate market conditions, economic indicators, demographic trends, and competitive activity. 
    • Develop research deliverables including quarterly market reports, white papers, market and submarket analyses, client presentations, and economic intelligence. 
    • Gather, validate, and maintain data on property availability, lease and sale transactions, tenants, occupancies, developments, and market activity. 
    • Partner with Brokerage, Marketing, Business Development, and Research leadership to support client pitches, proposals, and strategic initiatives. 
    • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and compelling visualizations. 
    • Utilize AI-powered research tools and data analytics platforms to improve research efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. 
    • Assist with maintaining research databases and ensuring data quality and consistency. 
    • Provide guidance and training to colleagues on research resources, data platforms, and analytical tools as needed. 
    • Stay current on emerging technologies, AI applications, and commercial real estate market trends. 
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. 
    • 2–4 years of experience in commercial real estate research, market research, data analytics, or a related field. 
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. 
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. 
    • Experience interpreting market data and translating findings into actionable business insights. 
    • Basic financial analysis skills. 
    • Effective critical thinking and attention to detail. 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. 
    • Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve research and business outcomes. 
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work in a collaborative environment. 
    • Positive, proactive, and client-focused mindset. 

    Experience working with one or more of the following technologies is highly desirable: 

    • Commercial Real Estate research and market intelligence platforms (i.e. Costar, Compstak, Crexi, Navigator CRE)  
    • Location Intelligence (ArcGIS, Placer.ai) 
    • Microsoft Power BI 
    • Claude or other enterprise AI platforms
