Job description

Job Summary
Assists in preparation and service of food for patients or patrons. Performs cleaning and sanitation functions. Performs other tasks as necessary in support of the department
Duties & Responsibilities
Assists in preparation and served food to patrons, using proper portion size and method of service.
Operates cash register in accordance with hospital and department policy and procedures.
Adheres to sanitary regulations and department policy and procedures when handling food and equipment and in maintaining clean work area.
Adheres to Hospital and department policies/procedures regarding attendance, uniform, personal hygiene and job duties.
Assists in other dietary department functions.
Requirements
Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to keep accurate records.
Proficiency in English language. Work may require fair amount of dexterity and mobility.
