Job description

This position provides Requirements Management support to Space Access organizations in support of Space Access, Mobility, and Logistics.

- Performs informal and formal requirements reviews involving strategy, concepts, planning, formulation, development, derivation, interpretation, writing/documenting, leveraging, parsing, tracing, decomposing, coordinating, staffing, obtaining validation, publishing, and disposition

- Develops and applies approaches that accelerate the requirement timelines as permitted by the latest Higher Headquarters guidance documents and standards; strategizes and deliver options on novel approaches to solving complex requirements issues and challenges, to include accelerating activities within the requirements process through recommended approaches to such avenues as middle-tier acquisition, solution pathway reviews, and acquisition of services-to lead-turn traditional means of identifying and meeting requirements

- Assists Government representatives in planning, preparing, arranging, hosting, facilitating/executing, note-taking, and overall support to requirements related meetings

- Develops, delivers, and tracks/follows Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) for requirements development efforts


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

5+ Years experience with the design, development, deployment, operations, or analysis of DoW (DoD), civil, or commercial space launch vehicles with an emphasis on formal requirements

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience planning, organizing, and leading multi-function and cross organizational teams in defining enterprise and system level requirements as well as securing executive level approval(s)
