Job description

Trans Ova Genetics is seeking a motivated Commercial Professional Services Embryologist I to join our team in Dumas, TX. This role offers a handson opportunity to build specialized skills in embryology and IVF laboratory operations while working alongside experienced professionals in a fastpaced, sciencedriven environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform oocyte searching by pouring and examining OPU filters using microscopic techniques
  • Assist with IVF laboratory processes, including stripping oocytes and loading straws
  • Accurately enter and maintain embryology and lab data in accordance with established protocols
  • Support inventory management of lab supplies and materials
  • Adhere to Trans Ova Genetics' policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Maintain a professional demeanor representative of Trans Ova Genetics' industry leadership
  • Promote and follow all workplace safety practices
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICIATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related field, or a Veterinary Technician degree
  • Embryology or Trans Ova Genetics-related experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment
  • Effective communication skills with internal teams and external clients
  • Manual dexterity and strong handeye coordination for manipulating small tools and equipment
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a microscope
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet vision requirements including close focus, depth perception, and color/pattern recognition
