GP + Canine Reproduction Opportunity in Draper, UT

South Mountain Canine Reproduction & Pet Care in Draper, Utah, is seeking an experienced GP veterinarian with reproduction interest or experience as we expand our GP offerings. Our practice is 100% small animal, and this role will support both our loyal reproduction clients and the growth of GP services from an existing client population.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to join a practice with a strong, established foundation and play an active role in its next phase of growth, while continuing to develop and expand skills in reproduction medicine. Our clients value high-quality medicine and are highly compliant with recommended diagnostics and treatment plans, allowing you to practice thorough, rewarding care. 

Facility Highlights:

  • 3 exam rooms (with plans for a 4th)

  • Large treatment area with 2 treatment tables and 1 wet table

  • Beautiful surgical suite 

  • Dedicated semen lab room (with plans to expand)

  • Kennels for day boarding

The Role:
  • Provide general practice medicine and surgery (routine wellness, internal medicine, spay/neuter, mass removals, basic soft tissue, dentals if interested)

  • Participate in reproduction cases: C-sections, breeding management, timing, semen work

  • Supported by two dedicated technicians each shift

  • Strong work/life balance
    • Limited on-call responsibilities specific to repro (breeding & C-sections only)
    • We do not see walk-ins, emergencies, or hospitalize patients overnight
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experienced DVM or New Graduate
  • Skilled in GP medicine and surgery (mentorship available for new graduates)
  • Repro interest is required (mentorship and training are available with our experienced repro DVM)
  • Collaborative Veterinarian who is motivated to support the transition of an existing repro client base into GP clientele

  • Full-time or part-time DVM
