Job Summary:
The Reporting Manager leads the reporting function, providing strategic direction, governance, and oversight for performance measurement, analytics, and business reporting. The role establishes reporting standards and performance frameworks that deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights to support effective decision-making and project success.
The position works closely with project and functional leadership to drive reporting excellence through performance analytics, data governance, process improvement, and continuous enhancement of reporting tools and capabilities.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Lead the reporting function, including development and governance of reporting standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Direct the preparation and delivery of project, program, portfolio, and business performance reporting for management and executive leadership.
  • Establish and maintain reporting governance, performance measurement frameworks, data quality standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide analysis of trends, forecasts, risks, and performance metrics to support business decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, integrity, and timeliness of reporting data and management information.
  • Collaborate with project and functional leadership to define reporting requirements, performance measures, and business reporting strategies.
  • Leverage Power BI and other business intelligence tools to automate, streamline, and enhance reporting processes, enabling efficient report generation, data visualization, and actionable performance insights.
  • Provide functional leadership, mentoring, and professional development for reporting personnel.
  • Promote effective data management, organizational accountability, and a culture of performance excellence.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience [OR] 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience leading reporting, analytics, performance management, or business intelligence functions in a project-based or operational environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting methodologies, performance measurement, data analysis, and business intelligence practices.
  • Strong understanding of project controls disciplines, including cost, schedule, progress, forecasting, risk, and performance reporting.
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and performance analytics to support decision-making.
  • Proficiency with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms, including dashboard development, data visualization, report automation, and integration of data from multiple enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable business insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish reporting standards, improve data quality, and implement reporting governance and process improvements.
