A scientific Nonprofit Association in the heart of DC is looking to hire a Database and Membership Specialist.  Interviews are taking place immediately!!!

You'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the membership reporting database, developing reports using SQL, Crystal Report Writing, or similar tools and also ensuring client satisfaction.  

Job Description
  • Create ad hoc reports for membership, marketing, and operations
  • Develop useful data integrity reports to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, run routine batch processes, and generate membership acquisition and renewal files.
  • Process and enter data for new and renewing members, member and non-member product orders and maintain iMIS database records.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to monthly dues installment program.
  • Respond to customer inquiries from email, voicemail and live online chat service.
  • Assist with maintenance of the membership database
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in a membership or Data Specialist role
  • Experience with relational databases and Association Management Systems (Personify, iMIS, Blackbaud, or similar tool)
  • Ability to create SQL scripts
  • Experience with Reporting writing (Personify, SQL Report Writing, Crystal)
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly efficient, able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
