Clark College is currently seeking to fill part-time Professional Baking Professor positions. The work schedule for these positions is Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 1:50 pm.
This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach the daytime, evening or weekend hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.
This is a part-time faculty position and is not eligible for employer-sponsored benefits.

Position Responsibilities
GENERAL FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Instruct classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Associate's degree in baking and pastry management OR equivalent industry experience.
  • Teaching/Industry experience in at least one (1) of the following disciplines: Viennoiserie, Artisan Bread, Cakes and tortes, or Cafรฉ management in a third wave coffee shop.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

Supplemental Information
SALARY STATEMENT: Lecture hourly rate is $95.60, and lab hourly rate is $81.66.
