Part-Time Event Day Report Writer
General Description:
The event day Report Writer will be responsible for documenting and compiling accurate, timely, and detailed reports on all event day activities at the Toyota Center. This role supports leadership by providing actionable insights that improve future events and enhance the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Responding to and investigating incident calls regarding guests, employees, contractors, and other individuals on Toyota Center property during events.
  • Working with staff members to write thorough and complete reports relating to incidents.
  • Collect witness statements from both event staff and guests.
  • Document information from incident scenes.
  • Document photographs and video as it pertains to incidents that require reports.
  • Attend event staff supervisor briefing before major events.
  • Assist in providing a safe environment for event operations.
  • Must be able to work 70% of the Toyota Center events each month.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must possess effective computer and report writing skills.
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a team setting and work alone with little direct oversight.
  • Must possess good sound judgement, be objective, be dependable, be in control of emotions, be customer service oriented, be a person of integrity and be professional while carrying out duties.
  • Experience with 24/7 incident management software is a plus.

Physical & Mental Requirements:
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk for an extended period of time; use handle or feel; reach; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; connect with others.
  • The vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical format.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communications from guests, radios and overhead sound
  • Will be able to adjust to changing work hours and on-site locations as needed in light of the strong focus on external communications and relationships.
