Position Summary
The primary responsibility of a Lift Driver is to operate powered forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas and loading docks, into the warehouse facilities.
Requirements
Responsibilities

  • Must be able to accurately operate scanning devices
  • Report all inventory issues to Management
  • Manage and report all damaged products.
  • Pulling/stocking orders when necessary for shipping.
  • Forklift/Pallet jack certified.
  • Cutting cases as required for pick slot sales, single picks
  • Cutting/removing all plastic from whole pallets going into the pick slot
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
  • High school diploma, G.E.D or 2+ years warehouse experience
  • 18 years or older
  • Must be able to operate pallet jack / warehouse equipment
  • Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl to reach freight
  • Must be able to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
Physical Requirements, Working Conditions, and Travel Requirements
  • Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to push up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to pull up to 55 pounds.
  • Standing for long periods, general bending and twisting are associated with lifting.
  • Local travel may be required.
  • Must be safety cutter certified.
