Job description

Description
About Us: Bernick's is a 5th generation family-owned provider of beverages, vending and food solutions, representing leading brands such as Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Miller Brewing Company and New England Coffee. We service locations in greater MN and western WI.
Job Summary: Our load crew members are a very important part of our distribution process. We rely on their accuracy and speed to assemble our customer's orders.
Responsibilities:
  • Sort and Load low volume pallets for daily driver routes
  • Verify pallet accuracy
  • Accurately build and wrap pallets in accordance with order specifications
  • Meet picking goals and warehouse objectives
  • Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack and forklift to pick and move beverage products efficiently and safely
  • Occasional use of warehouse management system as needed to look up items or orders
  • Utilize a handheld scanner to locate and verify inventory items
  • Assist Day Crew and Load Crew with warehouse cleanliness
  • Repack soft drink and beer items
Hours: Part-Time
  • Flexible scheduling based on your availability - M-F preferred (about 24 hours per week)
  • 3:00 am-4:00 am Start Time
  • No holidays
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Regularly lift and move product weighing 50-100 pounds
  • Repetitively bend, lift, twist, while moving product around the warehouse
  • Some technology application skills, including excel
  • Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick's locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
  • Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.
