Job description

Description:

We’re looking for a motivated, people-focused Residential Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties and help us deliver exceptional service to the properties we serve. If you enjoy relationship-building, problem-solving, and working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect fit.


What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and owners
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, property upkeep, leasing, and tenant relations
  • Conduct inspections, coordinate maintenance, and manage the tenant lifecycle
  • Work with Marketing on available units and guide prospective tenants through the leasing process
  • Monitor property performance, budgets, and documentation using Rent Manager
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and the VRLTA
  • Collaborate with a supportive, energetic residential operations team
Requirements:
  • 2–5 years of experience in customer service, property management, sales, or related fields
  • Some college preferred
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build trust quickly
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through abilities
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Virginia Real Estate Salesperson License (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
  • Valid Driver’s license and meet company driving requirements
