Position Summary
This position is responsible for working with the Director, Goodwill Academy of Virginia to implement and execute the overall learning and development strategy for Goodwill Academy of Virginia.
Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
1. Manages the design, development and implementation of content and curriculum for the Goodwill Academy of Virginia Career Development Institute and Leadership Development Institute.
2. Collaborates with Mission Impact Team to assess and identify career coaching and leadership development needs and solutions to help associates reach their highest level of self-sufficiency.
3. Works with organizational leaders, supervisors and success coaches to identify development plans that support succession planning and associates reaching their hightest level of self-sufficiency.
4. Tracks, measures and ensures effectiveness of Career Development Institute and Leadership Development institute programs.
5. Collaborates with Goodwill Academy of Virginia team to ensure alignment across all offerings in the Job Training Institute, Career Development Institute and Leadership Development Institute.
6. Collaborates with Goodwill Academy of Virginia team and Mission Impact Team in utilizing Learning Management and Case Management systems to track associate development plans.
7. Designs and facilitates in-person or virtual classess and workshops across Career Development and Leadership Development Institutes for external customers/partners/clients.
8. Supports and develops direct reports through setting clear goals; providing regular actional feedback; devoting time to coaching and development; recognizing and rewarding associates; building a diverse team; providing organizational context, vision and strategy.

• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
• Required to pass state and federal criminal background and sex offender checks. Depending upon contract specifications, may also be required to pass CPS and LEIE background checks and other background checks as necessary.
• Ability to operate PC and databases, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
