Job Description
The Warehouse Clerk responsibilities include processing of orders for shipment, receiving of product and inventory control within a climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete customer orders for delivery or pickup (picking, checking, kitting, packing, dispatching and processing of shipment on manifest software)
  • Planning and scheduling of freight shipment pickups with shipping carriers
  • Loading and unloading shipments/receipts by hand or electric pallet jack from vehicles
  • Receive commodities and supplies: unload, perform visual inspection and put away in designated storage location.
  • Perform inventory control (cycle counts, FIFO stock rotation), keeping quality standards high for audits
  • May direct others in preparing outgoing or receiving incoming shipments
  • Keep clean and safe working environment
  • Report any discrepancies to supervisor

Qualifications
Education and Experience: Minimum
  • High School Diploma/GED or 1 year of warehouse experience
  • This position may require the use of, and access to, ITAR controlled data. The applicant must demonstrate eligibility to use and access such ITAR controlled data. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws.

Education and Experience: Preferred
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Experience with freight shipments
  • Current forklift experience
  • Familiar with Dangerous Goods regulations

Compensation Range (Hourly)
  • $18-20 per hour (depending on level and location)
