Job Summary: Project Manager II - EV Charging Station Programs (Hybrid, Louisville/Lexington, KY)
[About the Role]
Join our innovative team as a Project Manager II, leading the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across Kentucky. This hybrid role (Tues-Thurs in office) offers an exciting blend of field and office work, overseeing critical infrastructure initiatives in the evolving energy sector. You'll drive impactful projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and serve as a trusted advisor, directly contributing to Kentucky's clean energy future.
[Responsibilities]
- Oversee end-to-end project management for EV charging station installations, maintenance, and repairs statewide
- Supervise contractors and ensure projects comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and strategic objectives
- Design program content, develop policies and procedures, and administer program budgets and schedules
- Manage customer inquiries and experiences, conducting on-site visits and meetings as needed to build strong client relationships
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications to create educational resources and ensure clear guidance for customers and employees
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in electric vehicle charging, distributed generation, renewables, and energy storage
- Advise customers on solutions, risks, costs, and reliability to support their energy and sustainability goals
- Coordinate multi-departmental resources for special energy projects and initiatives
- Ensure proper metering, accurate billing, and seamless data transfer for EV-related customer service programs
- Comply with all company policies and perform additional duties as assigned
