Job description

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operation of the plant
  • Oversee and thoroughly train new employees in plant operations and plant safety
  • Manage personnel placed under your supervision
  • Comply with and ensure all Fieldale Farms policies are followed
  • Complete required daily paperwork (Daily Production workbook in Excel)
  • Submit employee vacation forms
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by the plant manager
  • Complete Supervisor and safety training

Requirements:
  • Able to work days or nights with flexibility
  • MS office, excel, word and outlook skills desired
  • unrestricted physical activities
  • Maintenance background is a plus
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and problem solving skills desired
  • Valid state issued drivers license and reliable transportation
