The Detroit Medical Center is home to a newly established, fully accredited Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program, placing you at the forefront of neurosciences education and innovation. With hospital privileges across all five DMC facilities and a robust support infrastructure, you'll have the resources to practice at the highest level - and the bandwidth to pursue research if you choose.
Position Highlights
  • Mixed practice: general neurosurgery and skull base procedures
  • Typical schedule: 3-4 clinic days and 1-2 OR/procedure/call days per week
  • Shared call among 5 providers with 8 NPs supporting inpatient rounds 24/7
  • Primary practice location: DMC Neurosurgery Clinic at Harper Hospital (downtown Detroit)
  • Hospital privileges at all 5 DMC facilities
  • PACS imaging on-site, directly connected to the hospital
  • Supportive ancillary staff and in-house billing, coding, and collections
  • Research participation welcomed

Candidate Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board eligible or board certified in neurological surgery
