Job description

Position Summary


The Senior Director of Florida Imaging is a senior leadership role responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and strategic expansion across a growing network of imaging centers throughout Florida (currently 6 centers, expanding to 7+). This individual will own full P&L accountability and lead all aspects of performance, including volume growth, financial outcomes, service line expansion, and market positioning. This role requires a highly strategic operator who can balance day-to-day execution with long-term vision, identifying opportunities to scale, enhance patient access, optimize workflows, and expand imaging capabilities across all centers.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Growth & Expansion

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy across all Florida imaging centers
  • Identify and lead expansion opportunities, including de novo sites, acquisitions, and partnerships
  • Evaluate and implement new modalities and service lines (e.g., advanced MRI, CT, women’s imaging innovations, interventional services)
  • Partner with physician groups and referral networks to increase market share and referral capture
  • Lead business planning for new center openings and service expansions


Financial Leadership (P&L Ownership)

  • Own full P&L responsibility for all imaging centers in Florida
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and growth targets
  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining disciplined expense management
  • Monitor key financial metrics including volume, revenue per study, EBITDA, and cost per case
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency


Operations & Performance Management

  • Oversee performance across all centers to ensure achievement of volume, access, and quality goals
  • Partner with operations leaders to optimize scheduling, throughput, and patient experience
  • Ensure alignment with system-wide initiatives, including RIS/PACS optimization, RCM performance, and workflow standardization
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and drive accountability


Service Line Development & Innovation

  • Assess market demand and competitive landscape to guide modality mix and capital investments
  • Lead implementation of new technologies and clinical capabilities
  • Drive innovation in patient access, digital engagement, and care delivery models
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical leadership on service enhancements and quality initiatives


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team across imaging operations
  • Partner closely with radiologists, referring physicians, RCM, and executive leadership
  • Serve as the primary imaging leader in Florida for executive committees and board-level reporting
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related) strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in imaging, healthcare operations, or multi-site healthcare management
  • Proven experience with P&L ownership and driving growth across multiple locations
  • Strong understanding of imaging modalities, outpatient operations, and reimbursement dynamics
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, expansion, and service line development
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
