Position Summary

AB Facility Services is looking for a part-time Day Cleaner for a client located in Norfolk, VA. This role is responsible for picking up trash outdoors as well as cleaning indoors. Those who are interestedmust be available to work on the weekends.


Essential Functions:This is outdoors.


  • Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
  • Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.


Responsibilities:


  • Vacuum all carpets wall to wall.
  • Remove spots from the carpet that can be removed with standard spotting.
  • Sweep all hard surface floors.
  • Clean and sanitize drinking.
  • Spot clean metal doorframes and door tracks.
  • Remove fingerprints from elevator doors.
  • Clean all open stairwells surfaces.
  • Damp mop all hard surface floors.
  • Clean all entrance door glass on both sides and polish frames.
  • Dust all ledges.
  • Vacuum entrance.
  • Polish all brass and metal.
  • Remove all trash collected.
  • Clean and deodorize trash containers.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
