Ability to visually inspect tanks for cosmetic defects. 2. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.   3. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  4. Must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment. 5. The cleaner is to remove all weld spatter, burs and rust from pressure vessel using a scraper, chisel and hammer or sander. 6. Cleaner is to sand any repair areas and attachments of pressure vessel.  7. If the vessel is to be shipped without paint, the cleaner is to wipe the vessel with cleaner and remove stickers from vessel 8. Cleaner will remove rough spots from work piece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper.  9. Must be able to strip materials using steel shot, grit, Aluminum Oxide or other agent.  10. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and finishing specifications as they relate to finishing Steel Fab products. 11. Must be able to blast exterior of product to specific profiles 12. Proper usage and maintenance of respiratory equipment. 13. Must replenish the abrasive hopper when necessary. 14.Must be able to remove exhausted blasting agent from blasting room. 15. Will use various safety equipment related to blasting applications. 16. Material handling - safe operation of cranes, hoists, and forklifts as needed.  Also successfully complete any training/safety program relating to the operation of the equipment. 17. Will be able to properly complete applicable paperwork associated with this classification. 18. Knowledge of and compliance with all safety and environmental requirements regarding blasting agents, their application and disposal.  19. Maintain a clean and neat work area 20. All other duties as assigned 21. Follow all policies. EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE: 1. Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation. 2. Good verbal and written communication skills. 3. Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
