Position Summary
AB Facility Services is looking for a part-time Day Cleaner for a client located in Norfolk, VA. This role is responsible for cleaning indoors.
Essential Functions:

  • Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
  • Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Responsibilities:
  • Vacuum all carpets wall to wall.
  • Remove spots from the carpet that can be removed with standard spotting.
  • Sweep all hard surface floors.
  • Clean and sanitize drinking.
  • Spot clean metal doorframes and door tracks.
  • Remove fingerprints from elevator doors.
  • Clean all open stairwells surfaces.
  • Damp mop all hard surface floors.
  • Clean all entrance door glass on both sides and polish frames.
  • Dust all ledges.
  • Vacuum entrance.
  • Polish all brass and metal.
  • Remove all trash collected.
  • Clean and deodorize trash containers.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Shift & Pay:
  • Shift: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 4PM-8PM
  • Type: Part-time position
  • Pay: $12.77 per hour
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must meet all requirements to work legally in the U.S.
