This role is performed remotely, allowing you to create a tailored workspace that promotes productivity and personal comfort. While working from home, you will still engage through regular video conferences and emails that facilitate cooperation and maintain communication with department members and external partners.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health conditions, utilizing established tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to diagnose and evaluate their needs accurately.

• Create and maintain individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural diversity, special needs, and goals tailored to the patient population you serve.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes and enhancing patient quality of life.

• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and accurate manner using contemporary healthcare technologies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment strategies as needed, and providing interventions to support mental health improvements.

• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to formulate comprehensive treatment strategies that prioritize patient safety, symptom reduction, and goal achievement.

• Serve as a liaison for patients to facilitate referrals to other healthcare services, establishing networks for comprehensive care.

• Mentor and provide educational support to students, interns, and other team members to foster professional growth within the community.

• Engage in peer-to-peer reviews, clinical auditing, and collaborative case discussions under the guidance of your clinical supervisor, enhancing both individual and team performance.

Your work primarily focuses on patients and families impacted by cancer diagnoses, addressing the unique emotional, psychological, and social challenges they face. This position requires a deep understanding of the mental health ramifications associated with serious illness, enabling you to provide empathetic support in a time of need.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting, ideally focusing on mental health care for individuals facing serious health conditions such as cancer, is strongly preferred. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team can set you apart in this role.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
