Work Environment

This full-time position allows for a remote work setting, promoting work-life balance while giving you the flexibility to manage your professional responsibilities from home. The nature of remote work also allows you to easily adapt your schedule around client availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective virtual counseling sessions tailored to meet the needs of individuals, couples, and families.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) software to complete and maintain accurate documentation of client interactions.
• Make informed and thoughtful referrals to other medical or therapeutic providers based on clinical assessments and client needs.
• Establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients, encouraging their independence while offering compassionate support.
• Prioritize self-care practices to foster your own mental well-being and enhance your therapeutic effectiveness.
• Engage in continuous professional development, participating in training and workshops to stay current with evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will comprise a broad spectrum of individuals representing diverse backgrounds, cultures, and mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Your role as a therapist is to create a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work through their challenges.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master's degree in a related field such as Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build professional relationships with colleagues, medical professionals, and clients.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various therapeutic theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, ensuring effective interpersonal interactions.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in providing telehealth services, specifically in the mental health field, is highly preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy modalities, common digital communication platforms, and remote therapeutic techniques will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
