Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand students' psychological needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapies, to foster positive mental health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated support.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in social work and mental health to continuously enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged clients, where early intervention is key. By addressing mental health challenges in students, you will play a pivotal role in reducing barriers to learning and promoting their overall academic and social success. The diverse population includes children dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression, necessitating a culturally competent and individualized approach to care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) license in Vermont is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical for effective collaboration with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or other evidence-based modalities is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools is beneficial, given the remote nature of the role.
• A background in trauma-informed care approaches will enhance your effectiveness in this position.

Compensation and Benefits

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000–100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
