Work Environment

This is a fully remote position within a telehealth framework, allowing flexibility in work hours and schedule. While our core hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some adjustments may be necessary to meet the needs of our clients effectively. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth mental health assessments by utilizing various assessment tools and techniques to identify client needs effectively, allowing for tailored treatment strategies.

  • Lead and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering community and addressing prevalent mental health topics among participants.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for every patient.
  • Provide crisis intervention strategies and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating quick and effective response capabilities.
  • Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment approaches, and available community resources, empowering them to take active roles in their wellness journeys.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation, adhering strictly to legal regulations and ethical standards to safeguard patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families, encompassing a wide variety of mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New York State.
  • Solid understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Strong skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
