Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, challenges, and personal goals, allowing for tailored therapeutic approaches.
• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to aid clients in managing stress and enhancing overall well-being.
• Guide individuals through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques that foster self-awareness and emotional balance.
• Facilitate interactive group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience building.
• Incorporate mindfulness strategies into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns while supporting overall personal growth.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic and integrated treatment approach for clients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions.
• Engage in regular personal mindfulness practice and professional development, deepening your expertise in mindfulness-based interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges who seek both coping strategies and mindfulness techniques to improve their overall well-being. As a mental health therapist, you will make a significant impact on their lives by helping them develop the skills needed to cope with their challenges and achieve their personal wellness goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
• Proven ability to integrate mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly preferred.
• Experience with individual and group therapy methods.
• Prior experience working within community health settings would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
