Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for clients to build a holistic understanding of their mental health needs and challenges.
• Formulating personalized treatment plans through collaborative goal-setting and using evidence-based interventions.
• Delivering a range of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies.
• Maintaining up-to-date and compliant clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and proper record-keeping.
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Participating actively in case consultations and peer review meetings that encourage continual professional development and high-quality patient outcomes.
• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment approaches, and available community resources.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development by keeping abreast of new research, methodologies, and best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of patients, ranging from children to adults, each presenting unique mental health concerns. The clinic focuses on delivering compassionate and culturally competent care, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that treatment is accessible and effective, particularly for clients in underserved and rural areas.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience directly providing psychotherapy services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills essential for building rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tailor approaches to meet individual patient needs.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also managing a remote working setup.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with school-based mental health programs or interventions is a plus.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices.
• Knowledge of community resources and support networks available in Atlanta, Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits
