Position Summary
We are seeking a talented System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
System Administrator Responsibilities
- Install and configure software, hardware, and services.
- Manage cloud solutions, servers, and networks.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including access control lists and firewalls.
- Manage backup and recovery systems.
- Monitor system performance and conduct necessary maintenance.
- Plan and procure technical equipment and software subscriptions.
- Provide expert guidance on system options, requirements, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Establish and maintain an internal documentation portal.
- Plan and implement system enhancements.
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows (administrator level), and Linux (experienced user level).
- Proficiency with virtualization, primarily Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Enterprise Application Deployment.
- Solid networking experience (firewalls, routing, VLANs, ACLs, VPN, Wireless APs, etc.).

- Experience with backup/recovery software tools or services.

- Experience using modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Codex, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to improve productivity, automate routine administrative tasks, assist with scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and system administration where appropriate.

- Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates.
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g., Microsoft, Azure, or networking certifications) is a plus.
