Description
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for leading the execution and delivery of integrated fundraising campaigns across a portfolio of nonprofit clients. This role serves as the primary day-to-day client contact, ensuring work is planned, coordinated, and delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with established strategy.
The Senior Account Manager partners closely with Client Strategy, Creative, Analytics, and Production teams to translate strategic direction into actionable campaign plans and high-quality deliverables. This role is accountable for managing workflows, maintaining strong communication across stakeholders, and driving operational excellence across multiple concurrent campaigns.
While primarily focused on execution, the Senior Account Manager contributes to strategic discussions by bringing forward campaign insights, performance observations, and client context, while continuing to build deeper strategic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of integrated fundraising campaigns, managing timelines, workflows, and deliverables from initiation through completion and billing.ย 
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, ensuring clear communication, alignment on priorities, and timely resolution of questions or issues.ย 
  • Translate strategic direction into actionable campaign plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure work is executed accurately and efficiently.ย 
  • Manage project scope, budgets, and timelines, proactively identifying risks and driving solutions to keep campaigns on track.ย 
  • Ensure quality and consistency across all deliverables, reviewing creative, production, and campaign components for alignment with strategy, brand standards, and best practices.

  • Monitor project budgets, track financial performance, and support reconciliation and billing processes in partnership with Finance.

  • Provide clear direction and feedback to internal teams, fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Support development of innovative ideas and strategies in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and high performance across the team.


Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Communications, Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • 4โ€“6 years of experience in client strategy, account management, fundraising, or agency client services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred experience includes:
  • Direct response fundraising campaigns across direct mail and/or digital channels
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations
  • Agency experience in a client services or strategy capacity
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of direct response fundraising strategy and campaign execution.
  • Understanding of multi-channel campaign planning and project management workflows.
  • Ability to translate client goals and performance data into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentations.
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and project deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges.
  • Ability to provide direction and feedback to team members while fostering collaboration.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
