As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments as well as ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.
• Utilizing therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), effectively addressing the unique needs of clients struggling with addiction and mental health disorders.
• Documenting clinical encounters in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring thorough and accurate case notes that reflect treatment progress and outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other social workers to ensure comprehensive care coordination and effective interventions.
• Leading case consultations and participating in peer review meetings to share insights, provide feedback, and improve therapeutic practices within the team.
• Offering education and resources to clients and their families, empowering them to understand mental health problems, treatment methodologies, and community support options.
• Engaging in continuous professional development by staying abreast of contemporary research and trends in mental health, thereby enhancing the clinical skills you apply in your practice.

You will primarily work with patients at various stages of detoxification, who may be battling co-occurring mental health disorders. This diverse client base presents unique challenges and opportunities. Your role is crucial in providing immediate emotional support, crisis intervention, and therapeutic services to improve their overall mental health status and long-term recovery outlook.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience delivering psychotherapy services, preferably in a mental health or addiction treatment context.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidenced-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, or other modalities relevant to treating complex cases.
• Superior communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with clients, families, and team members.
• Strong analytical skills, enabling you to assess situations and devise practical solutions promptly.

• Experience in substance abuse treatment settings or detox environments.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and techniques.

• Annual salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000.
