• Conduct detailed, trauma-informed mental health assessments that include evaluating patients’ trauma histories, risks, and needs to establish effective treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient healing.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for clients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional stability.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for patients.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, emphasizing a safety-first approach.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, support mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing assistance.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records aligned with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective management.
• Participate in case consultations and professional development activities focusing on evolving trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually refine treatment approaches.

The primary focus of this role is on individuals who have encountered distressing life events and are working to heal from trauma. You will engage with a diverse array of clients, including those facing PTSD, complex trauma, and associated psychological challenges, aiming to empower them through specialized, evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Must hold a current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
• A profound understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is crucial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• An ability to stay composed and effective in high-stress situations.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications to streamline workflow.
• A collaborative spirit to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred, especially with a focus on trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• A track record of delivering therapeutic services that adhere to trauma-informed care principles is advantageous.
