This role will be based in our Las Vegas office, on a remote basis. Some in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to two Talent Services Business Partners.
Position Summary:
The Talent Services Coordinator provides administrative support to the Talent Services department, under the guidance of the Talent Services Business Partners, assisting with daily human resource tasks with a primary focus on staff recruitment. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists with staff recruitment: posts open positions on the intranet and job boards; enters and tracks job applicants using tracking software; sends resumes to Talent Services and Hiring Managers
  • Initiates contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings
  • Schedules interview appointments and interfaces with candidates, emails standard communications to applicants regarding the status of their applications
  • Manages pre-employment process; initiates and monitors background check process, and coordinates start date with new hire
  • Schedules and coordinates orientations as appropriate with local and shared services groups
  • Processes employment verifications and transactions in HR system, including employee changes and separations, assists employees with the time and attendance system (Workday)
  • Prepares, compiles, and monitors correspondence and memos, and prioritizes critical information
  • Coordinates and distributes internal/external communications
  • Updates and maintains social/job board sites, talent services, recruiting, and other SharePoint sites
  • Coordinates department events for team building and employee engagement
  • Performs additional duties as required, including but not limited to, assisting with other GT offices

Education & Prior Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in a Human Resources support role
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred
  • Possess a basic understanding of HR/Recruiting principles and practices, as well as employment law compliance

Technology
  • Knowledge of HR/Recruiting-related programs/software; preferably Workday applicant tracking system
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality

The expected pay range for this position is:
$34.61 to 36.06 per hour
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
