Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, providing the flexibility to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a professional outpatient practice atmosphere. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists and mental health professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to thoroughly evaluate clientsโ€™ mood disorder symptoms, ensuring an understanding of their severity, frequency, and impact on everyday life.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning strategies with their unique needs and aspirations.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.
  • Provide educational resources and resources to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mood disorders, effective treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Continuously monitor clientsโ€™ progress, making necessary adjustments to their treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Work integratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, establishing a coordinated care model for the best patient outcomes.
  • Document client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions, sharing insights on mood disorders and contributing to best practice discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily consist of individuals facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will engage with a diverse clientele, accommodating varying backgrounds, life experiences, and mental health challenges, thereby fostering a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
  • Strong expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, with a focus on CBT and DBT approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, specializing in mood disorders.
