About Us

Honoring Your Journey Counseling LLC is seeking an independently licensed therapist for a flexible 1099 contractor remote role, administrative support, and room to grow a caseload at a sustainable pace.

We provide trauma-informed, client-centered care for adults and couples experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and identity-related challenges. Our practice is affirming of LGBTQIA+ clients and welcomes individuals and partners in polyamorous, consensually non-monogamous, ethically non-monogamous, and monogamous relationships.

Our work is grounded in clinical integrity, evidence-informed care, cultural humility, and respect for each client’s identity, values, and relationship structure. We are seeking therapists who are passionate about inclusive care and committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.

Position Summary

We are seeking an independently licensed clinician to provide outpatient psychotherapy services. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, organized, comfortable working independently, and committed to timely documentation and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy services to clients in an outpatient setting
  • Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record
  • Manage caseload and schedule professionally, including client follow-up and attendance documentation
  • Deliver services in accordance with ethical, legal, and professional standards
  • Participate in administrative and credentialing requirements as needed
  • Communicate effectively with practice leadership regarding scheduling, clinical operations, and workflow needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active independent clinical license as one of the following:
    • LICSW
    • LMHC
    • LMFT
    • LPC
    • Licensed Psychologist
  • Experience providing psychotherapy independently in an outpatient setting
  • Strong clinical documentation skills
  • Comfort with telehealth services and electronic health record systems
  • Current professional liability insurance
  • Active NPI number or ability to obtain one
  • Eligibility and willingness to complete payer credentialing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outpatient psychotherapy experience
  • Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress-related concerns, and life transitions
  • Experience with telehealth and hybrid service delivery
  • Familiarity with TherapyNotes or similar EHR platforms
  • Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
