Position Overview

Recycle Mental and Behavioral Healthcare is seeking passionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapists for full-time remote positions. As a member of our outpatient psychiatric practice, you will play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate care to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. The ideal candidate is dedicated to improving the lives of patients and possesses a strong commitment to evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Located in beautiful Sammamish, Washington, Recycle Mental and Behavioral Healthcare is a leader in providing comprehensive mental health services. Our outpatient facility focuses on a patient-centered approach, targeting a wide spectrum of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Our team of dedicated professionals works collaboratively to create tailored treatment plans that promote positive therapeutic outcomes.

Work Environment

This position offers a remote working arrangement, allowing you the flexibility to engage with patients through virtual platforms. Although primarily remote, our therapists adhere to set office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, where you will manage caseloads while being sensitive to the evolving needs of our patients. Some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient demands, fostering a culture that is responsive to individual circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs, determine diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans that employ evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver individual, couple, and family therapy using established therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, ensuring that interventions are grounded in best practices.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at providing patients with essential coping strategies and a sense of community.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and members of our interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to assist patients in managing acute mental health situations effectively.
  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document all interactions and treatment progress.
  • Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to continually enhance clinical skills and stay informed on the latest mental health research.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient practice serves a diverse population of adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health disorders. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to create impact by helping clients navigate their mental health challenges, providing them with tools to improve their overall well-being and functionality in daily life.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.
  • A valid and current license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or as a Psychologist.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Proficiency in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy across varied populations, demonstrating cultural competency and adaptability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and professional development, with experience utilizing EHR systems being a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting or similar environments.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and adapting therapeutic techniques for remote treatment.
  • Previous engagement in crisis management or intervention preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
