This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to provide vital counseling services directly to clients in their preferred environments. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health statuses through individual sessions, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools to guide treatment plans.
• Design personalized therapy interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, addressing a wide variety of issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
• Facilitate ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, effectively using therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches to foster client engagement and progress.
• Monitor clients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the provision of resources and tools to support sustained self-improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other mental health professionals, social workers, and medical providers, to ensure comprehensive care and receive referrals when necessary.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our clients come from various cultural backgrounds and may face a multitude of challenges. Your expertise and cultural competence will be essential in building trust and understanding, allowing effective therapeutic relationships to bloom. The goal is to empower patients to take charge of their mental health journey and achieve meaningful change.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience in various therapeutic environments.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and individual and cultural differences in therapy.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling efficient documentation and client management.

• Experience conducting group therapy sessions focused on specific populations or issues, such as addiction recovery or anxiety management.
• Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations with composure and confidence while providing immediate support and interventions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, evidenced by a history of building rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.
• Experience in utilizing innovative and evidence-based treatments that can adapt to diverse client needs.

Life Journey Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
