Key Responsibilities

• Provide mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client seeking stress relief and emotional support.
• Conduct initial consultations and ongoing assessments to identify clients' challenges, strengths, and personal goals, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques to foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress management.
• Lead group workshops where you will facilitate discussions and exercises focused on mindfulness, stress management, and building resilience in participants.
• Integrate mindfulness-based techniques into individual therapy sessions, ensuring the approach aligns with each client’s specific mental health requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create a cohesive treatment plan that incorporates mindfulness as a core therapeutic approach.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and interventions in compliance with organizational policies and best practices.
• Engage in regular personal mindfulness practices and professional development activities aimed at enhancing your mindfulness skill set and therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily involve working with a diverse array of clients experiencing varying degrees of stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Our population includes young adults, professionals experiencing work-related stress, families, and individuals seeking personal development. Your ability to offer empathetic support and effective mindfulness techniques will play a crucial role in helping clients set personal wellness goals and achieve transformative results.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oregon is mandatory.
• Demonstrable proficiency in mindfulness techniques and their integration into therapeutic practice is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively connect and establish rapport with clients in a virtual setting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly desirable.
• Experience in telehealth or remote therapy is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
• A record of developing and leading workshops or group therapy sessions focused on mindfulness and stress management.

Compensation and Benefits
