We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Secure Connectivity to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Waltham, MA or Austin, TX office.

Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager, Secure Connectivity, will lead the strategy and evolution of Imprivata’s secure connectivity capabilities across the Imprivata platform. This role will drive the integration of privileged access connectivity technology to enable secure, reliable connections between endpoints, servers, applications, and Imprivata appliances. The Senior Product Manager will partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to translate complex networking and security requirements into scalable product capabilities that simplify deployment and improve the customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for the integration of secure connectivity capabilities across the Imprivata platform.
  • Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to define connectivity requirements, technical designs, and product tradeoffs.Translate complex networking and security concepts into clear product requirements and intuitive customer experiences.
  • Work with customers and field teams to understand network architectures, deployment challenges, and opportunities to simplify connectivity and configuration.
  • Define product success metrics and use customer feedback, product data, and operational insights to measure adoption, connectivity performance, and overall customer experience.
  • Evaluate market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive approaches in secure connectivity and zero-trust access to identify opportunities and inform product strategy and roadmap priorities.
  • Lead product discovery and validation with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure secure connectivity capabilities address real-world deployment requirements and deliver measurable customer value.
  • Drive capabilities related to secure tunneling, routing, connectivity management, resiliency, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Support, Services, and Go-to-Market teams
  • Other duties as assigned and required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of technically complex enterprise software or platform capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnets, ports, firewalls, NAT, proxies, and network segmentation.
  • Experience working with VPNs, secure tunnels, or similar network connectivity technologies.
  • Familiarity with technologies and protocols such as WireGuard, IPsec, or comparable secure connectivity approaches.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including encryption, authentication, certificates, and key management.
  • Experience developing or managing products that incorporate AI-driven capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer, market, and business needs into product strategy and priorities.

Desired

  • Experience building products related to secure remote access, privileged access, zero-trust network access, or enterprise connectivity.
  • Experience with endpoint agents, gateways, connectors, appliances, or other distributed connectivity architectures.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data center, hybrid-cloud, and cloud networking environments.
  • Experience with network observability, connectivity diagnostics, or troubleshooting tools.
  • Background in identity and access management, privileged access management, or enterprise cybersecurity.

This position offers a total compensation range of $131,026.00 to $171,150.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
