Booz Allen is seeking a skilled Windows systems administrator with experience supporting enterprise desktop and server environments to join our team. In this role, you will draw upon experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Group Policy, and Windows endpoints while providing Tier 2 support in a secure enterprise environment. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
As a systems administrator on our team, you have the chance to support, maintain, and improve enterprise Windows infrastructure in support of Booz Allen. Your technical expertise will be vital as you troubleshoot user issues, administer Windows servers and workstations, manage Active Directory and Group Policy, deploy system updates, support virtualization technologies, and ensure systems remain secure and compliant. You Have:
  • Experience administering Windows Server OS 2022, VMware, vSphere 8, Active Directory, and Group Policy in a secure or enterprise environment
  • Experience supporting system deployment, security hardening, and ongoing maintenance of Windows servers within classified networks
  • Experience in server room or data center environments
  • Knowledge of how servers, networking, and storage components integrate
  • Knowledge of STIGs
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic networking issues such as TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP
  • Ability to follow guidance to support system compliance
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE Certification

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting web applications and documenting technical processes or troubleshooting steps
  • Experience with tools such as Splunk, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), and Domain Controller technologies
  • Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting tools to automate tasks
  • Ability to learn, apply technical research to solve problems, and collaborate in a team setting
  • Ability to assist in managing and maintaining Windows and RHEL 8/9 based systems, including basic configuration, patching, and system monitoring

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
