The primary focus of this role is to drive sales growth for municipal water treatment equipment and services within a designated territory. Reporting to the Director of Equipment Sales, the position supports the General Water Engineering (GWE) business by building new client relationships, managing existing accounts, and ensuring revenue targets are met.
Location: Remote in Pacific Northwest area (States include: WA, Or, CA, MT, ID,WY, NV, UT, CO, NE, KS, IO, MO, IL, AND WI)
Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 plus commission
Travel: 50% of the time
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for finding new business to drive revenue in the assigned territory in support of company goals.
  • Assists with defining the strategic direction of sales and marketing efforts for the assigned territory.
  • Manages existing account relationships through independent manufacturer's rep firms and direct relationships with owners, engineers, and contractors located within the assigned territory.
  • Creates and executes a plan for each manufacturer's representative and supports the plan through training (when necessary) and monitoring of activities throughout the territory.
  • Provides high level technical support to customers located within the territory.
  • Responsible for forecasting revenue for the territory.
  • Represents the company at industry trade shows.
  • Performance of other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or process equipment sales experience (or similar) preferably in the water treatment industry
  • Five years of experience in municipal water treatment equipment sales or other, similar technical field
